Maureen is a self taught artist, using wildlife, animals, flowers and birds, particularly from the Peak District, as subjects for my paintings and drawings. After starting painting with watercolours, I now include artisan oil and coloured pencils in my work.
Also a member of the United Kingdom Coloured Pencil Society and of the High Peak Artists and Craft Workers Association.
Prints, bookmarks and greetings cards are produced from my work. These are available by post or at the ‘Gallery in the Gardens’, Buxton and many other venues In Derbyshire. I accept commissions and have a studio in Buxton, Derbyshire, where viewing is welcome by appointment. Contact Maureen.
